Bahrain : Local food in Bahrain

From Bahrain Trip

In Bahrain we decided to try the local fare and chose Al Abraaj. This is a chain that serves Arabic, Mediterranean , Indian and Chinese food. Having tasted "Hummus", Kubideh and Jujeh in Mediterranean restaurants  in the Washington DC area like Moby Dick, Sorrento Grill i wanted to make a comparison with the food here. The food was really mouth watering with the meats and bread almost melting in your mouth.

The sizzler below is a fish which was very tasty.I do not remember the name of this dish.

Have you tasted Arabic/ Mediterrenean food? What did you think ? 
Maybe you could also visit the "Eat Street" ( see below) in downtown Bahrain
