Manil Suri book signing Howard County 26th June 2008

From the Washington Post Literary Calendar Manil Suri is a local author in the DC area. Wonder if he lives in Columbia like a lot of my other celebrity friends - Technosailor, Jessie Newburn, Steve Fisher, Clarence Vooten. if you know the answer please leave a comment.

I read his book " The death of Vishnu" and as I lived in India for a good part of my life the book si very authenitc and engaging. I have yet to read his second book "The Age of Shiva". I may not be able to make it to this event but posting this so others can go.

Thanks for heads up on this event, Shashi. We have a rare event happening in our family: All the siblings and the parents will be in the same place right around then. So, I don't know if I'll be there, but I'll pass the word on to some local friends. Rock on!
