Jimmy's Tavern has the reputation as a great watering hole. Jimmy Critto is a member of the Bar Tender magazine's Hall of Fame and a Washington post article. We had organized a Twitter meetup there and really had a good time. Amy who looked after the 20 of us is a really good Jimmy's team member. Some of the ictures we took at Jimmy's Tavern are posted here

The service was excellent. Even with this huge group they had no problems with everyone having individual tabs . Service was great always attentive ( Great job Amy !) I think everyone enjoyed thier orders except I may have made a mistake by ordering the Jambalaya which is not exactly a Jimmy's speciality. The Jimmy's Tavern menu has Sherried Chicken Stew which I enjoyed very much. I drank the Widmer Heifewezen which was very good.

Jimmys has the longest Happy hour from 4 p.m to 8 p.m. I have heard that the Captain's SPiced Cider is good (didn't drink it myself). Parking is in the free muncipal parking lot opposite the restaurant.

In have to thank my friend Jeff Hibbard who took time off from running his blinds, drapery and window treatment business to help organize the meetup.

The bar is close to Reston, Herndon and not far from Dulles, Ashburn and Sterling
