Went to Jamaica for lunch

Dreaming about oxtail, jerk chicken or Jamaican chicken curry ? The Northern Virginia Silicon Valley (Herndon/Reston) did not have many Jamaican food places. It was a nice surprise to see a new Jamaican food restaurant open in Herndon smack in the middle of several office buildings.

The atmosphere is very causal and homely while Simone feeds you authentic home cooked Jamaican food in Herndon. The Jerk chicken stew was very tasty . You have the choice of getting a sampling platter of all the lunch time Jamaican food specials.

The Jamaican food sampler has oxtail curry, chicken curry, jerk chicken stew and goat curry. Along with the Jamaican food you can have the original ginger ber imported from Jamaica.

The place has a few tables and seems to have more carry out clients. The owners are hands on and are very friendly. They have a few tables upstairs and sell Caribbean condiments, sauces, and goods that are manufactured directly in the Caribbean.

The address of this fine Jamaican food restaurant in Herndon is:

348 Victory Drive
Herndon VA 20170.
Phone: 703-481-8641

To get this Jamaican food restaurant you will ned to take the spring street exit from the Fairfax County parkway and make a left on Victory Drive from Spring Street.

The website for this Jamaican Food restaurant is http://jamaica2x.com
