If you were looking for a recommendation for the best place to buy meat I would recommend "Rockville Gourmet Halal Meat " on Rockville Pike. This is right opposite of Best Buy in the Sunshine Square.
I have been buying meat from them for 8 years. Their meat is Halal certified for people who are particular about it. The place is spick and span and its always a joy going there.
They recently expanded to have a restaurant "Sadaf Halal Restaurant". I did not eat there but when I went over to pick up the menu the flavors were so enticing that i will go there soon and report back.
