Great Coffee Experience at Newly Opened Black Lion Cafe, Rockville

There are many reasons to visit the Traville Gateway area. The closest Grocery store - Giant, Traville Barber Shop, Cava Mezze. Sushi Oiishi. Today I had the opportunity to visit the Black Lion Cafe that has been open for a few weeks.

The cafe is run by a family who lives in the area and have specialty Ethiopian coffee directly sourced and  roasted and ground onsite.

As you enter you get the aroma of the coffee that is very tempting and also the elegance of the coffee shop which has nice seating and could be a great palce to work.

There are many reasons that I am excited. Since I live about a mile away this gives me a good reason to take a walk or ride my bike to this coffee shop specially on the weekends. Other times when we drop off our son in the Kicks Karate class we can hang around at the coffee shop for a hour.

The hours Black Lion Cafe is open :
Mon - Sat : 7 a.m to 9 p.m
Sunday     : 7 a.m to 6 p.m

They have snacks and sweets almost similar to any Starbucks. If you like the coffee then you can even buy a packet of special Ethiopian coffee. If you are looking for a coffee shop near, Human Genome Sciences - Rockville, Glaxo Smithkline Gaithersburg, HZDG - Rockville, Universities at Shady Grove, Shady Grove Hospital, Willows of Potomac, Potomac Glen, this is a must visit.

If you are taking your kids to Kumon or Kicks Karate in Traville then this is a good place to hangout.
