Meet DC's most talented gastronomically inclined authors

The Washington Post has invited select authors to a mixer at the Washington Post offices on February 4 at 6:00 p.m. For food bloggers  and aspiring food writers this may be a good event to attend.

What makes good food writing? Come on February 4, 2010, to The Washington Post to hear from some of DC's most talented gastronomically inclined authors when the Post hosts a reading from the new bestseller "Best Food Writing 2009." The event will include ,Joe Yonan and Jane Black of The Washington Post, Tim Carman of the Washington City Paper, and cookbook author Monica Bhide, all of whom are featured in this anthology of culinary prose, along with the series editor, Holly Hughes.
After short readings, the group will take questions and sign books. Books may be purchased at the event at the special price of $10 (List price is $15.95).
