Cold Stone Creamery

It was a wonderful night in New York's Time Square when we first tasted ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery.

After taking the order the singing staff mix the flavors on a freezing stone slab right in front of you. The portions are sumptous and so is the price. The experience is absolutely lipsmacking. I loved it so much that I dreamt of when Cold Stone would open near my house.

With these sweet memories we visited the Cold Stone Creamery above the Cleveland Park Metro in DC on Connecticut Avenue. I was disappointed.

The staff didnt sing with enthusiasm. The ice cream after mixing was limp and looked more like a slurpee thaqn a frozen ice cream.

I don't know if I will go to a COld Stone unless I am in Time Square.
