Just came back from Subway where I ordered a Footlong on Italian herb Bread with cheese with everything on it for $5. Nice price for a nice lunch and you probably feel healthy reading the napkin. Hurry this may not last long.

Restaurant at the End of the Universe - Grand Canyon West
I am making the title of this post very sensational - Sorry Douglas Adams . I went to the Grand canyon visit the home of the famous Skywalk (http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/2008/04/10/20080410skywalk.html ) After driving 129 miles from
Las Vegas which includes a 14 mile dirt road we came to this Hualapai run Grand canyon West. You park your car and get on a bus that takes you to Eagle Point . See the picture of the rock that looks like a eagle.
The driver /guide on the bus tells you that the food is good on the next stop which is Guano point.
Boy was he right. Guano point seems in the middle of nowhere but the food was a all you can eat buffet with a combination of Native American food, all american staple Mac and Cheese etc.
The restaurant at the top of the hill and the friendly staff.

Huge sandwich at roxys
Roxys is known for its Cheesecake. While at the Blogger Social 2008 we had a meetup at Roxys with Geoff Livingston, Jane Quigley, Jason Falls, Suki Fuller.
Suki ordered the Cheesecake and Geoff shared this ( Sorry forgotten what the dish is called and Roxys does not have a website)
I ordered the BLT and its so massive and bread forms a minor part of the sandwich. Nobody could help me finish this. I would not recommend it to anyone.
The cheesecake is awesome
Someone should have warned me of the portions. This is a BLT
